Li Hong is the director of Hangzhou Tourism Commission. Over the years he has provided pragmatic guidance, through valuable comments and suggestions, for the development of the city's tourism industry.

Under his watch the city has been applauded as “International Garden City,” “China’s Happiest City” and “China’s Best Tourist City” among many other remarkable achievements. The New York Times picked Hangzhou as one of the most travel-worthy cities worldwide earlier this year.
